Refund Policy Guidelines

Thank you for choosing our courses. We strive to ensure that our users have a rewarding experience while discovering, assessing, and purchasing our courses. As with any purchase experience, there are terms and conditions that govern our Refund Policy. When you buy a training course from us, you agree to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Refund Policy.

Payment Terms

To make payment for any Program or to purchase any services or products offered by 1stepGrow Academy you must have internet access and a current valid accepted payment method as indicated during sign-up (“Payment Method”). 1stepGrow Academy does not store any of your credit card/debit card information or such other information restricted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for processing payment and has partnered with payment gateways for the payment towards the services. By using a third-party payment provider, you agree to abide by the terms of such a payment provider.

 

1stepGrow Academy or its representatives will not ask for OTP or other authentication-related information for any purpose. We urge you to be cautious while making payments and during financial transactions.

Refund Policy

You may opt out of or withdraw from Programs subscribed by you and seek a refund for the fees already paid, provided the Customer informs us in writing and seeks the refund of fees paid prior to the expiry of the Refund Window. The Refund Window is calculated 14 days from the date of the first class/session of the relevant Program subscribed by the Customer. We shall not entertain any requests related to the refund of fees before the start of class or after the expiry of the Refund Window. Your access to 1stepGrow Academy resources will cease upon your withdrawal from the course, notwithstanding anything contained herein.

 

To request a refund, you are required to send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Requesting Refund / Cancellation of Enrolment” within the Refund Window. To qualify for a refund, you must submit your refund request within 14 days of the start of your course with a valid reason for refund/cancellation.

Scenarios Under Which Refund Policy Becomes Void:

  • The refund window of 14 days has lapsed.
  • You have not attended or attended less than 25% of the classes in the 14 days from course start.
  • The user opted for a student loan via 1stepGrow Academy, and the same is approved (when applying for a refund), refund or loan cancellation will not be possible. The 14 days refund policy will get void here.
  • The user violates any Terms and Conditions listed on the 1stepGrow Academy website and leaves the course.
  • The user has shared credentials without the approval of 1stepGrow Academy, which will lead to fines or even expulsion from the course.
  • Note: Enrolment into a Program is non-transferable.

 

Any refund request failing to meet all of these requirements will not be accepted, and no refund will be provided.

Refund Process

Refunds will be granted to the original source used at the time of purchase or via NEFT/IMPS/RTGS or such other facility as deemed fit by 1stepGrow Academy. We require proof of purchase or receipt to complete your return.

 

We may request information/documents (which may include a cancelled cheque pertaining to the bank account of the customer) to verify your credentials and details of the bank account before initiating the approved refund. We shall strive to process the refunds within ten (10) days of receipt of all the relevant information and documentation from you in this regard.

 

Note: You will not be entitled to a return of any Platform fees paid by you.

 

In case the Platform fees are being/have been paid by a third party on your behalf or you have availed of any third-party financing option, it will be your responsibility to continue to make any payments to such a third party, even if you wish to withdraw from and discontinue access to the relevant Program to which you subscribed, outside the Refund Window for any reason whatsoever. You agree that 1stepGrow Academy has no obligation or responsibility to cease or waive your obligation to make such payments.

Additional Steps for Refund Difficulties

  • Get in touch with your credit card provider because it can take some time for the refund to appear on your account.
  • Next, contact your bank. There is often a delay in processing refunds.
