For working professionals salary can be calculated as No. of years of Experience * 3 LPA (INR)

Most of the work expected after a masters or PhD in data Science is of Research. Getting a degree without experience is not helpful in the data science research career. However, to start a data science career you will require skills on data science tools, statistics, ML & AI concepts and domain knowledge. Project experience will help you convert into a job.
